The darling Microgreen of top chefs around the world has hit the UrbanSproutz centre stage! Just like an exquisite and showy actress, Red Sorrel takes the lead with a striking green leaf and blood veins which makes it a perfect garnish for many dishes.
Often used on canapés and desserts due to its tarte and citrus flavour, it makes a lovely pop of colour and theatrical zing to your culinary repertoire.
Growing Sorrel is not for the faint-hearted – it is on the more difficult side and sow-to-harvest time is long, but the wait is worth your patience. Certainly one to impress friends and family.
