Sometimes referred to as Japanese Spinach, this species has been long prized for centuries in Japan – but it is originally from China known as Flat Cabbage. It is very similar to Pak Choy and the Chinese Nai Bai.
Adding a succulent crunch to any salad, it can be added to meals as a lovely base, and mixes well other Microgreens and most flavours. It is fast growing and easy to grow as a Microgreen. Popular in Chinese and Japanese cooking when grown to its full size.
